My problem with the WS6 hood is that it was a bad interpretation of the Formula hood on this car. The WS6 hood makes facelifted fourth gen TAs look heavy (and hyper-aggressive), whereas this looks sleek and light.

So, yeah, this is the forefather of the WS6 hood, but it’s also a way better design.

no I meant from your post earlier lol. The reason the hood is like this actually makes more sense than the 77 onwards formula hoods. The original reason the shaker faces backwards is that facing forwards the scoop misses all the air deflected off the nose. These scoops sit high enough that they clear the wash from the nose. Not a problem on later cars.

The Hellcat ones were too WS6-esque for my liking. That being said, I don’t mind the Ram Air hoods on certain cars.
